Chika Unigwe ( Eng. Chika Unigwe ; 1974 , Enugu ) is a Nigerian writer who writes in English and Dutch.

Biography
Belongs to the Igbo people . She graduated from the University of Nigeria in English Philology, received a master's degree from the Catholic University of Leuven , and defended a dissertation in literature at the University of Leiden ( 2004 ).
She made her debut in English poetry published in Nigeria. Currently lives with her husband and four children in Turnhout , in 2007 she was elected to the city council from the Christian Democratic Party . Printed in the UK, Netherlands and Belgium (Flanders).
