Biography
In 1977, he graduated from Novosibirsk State University , from 1977 - trainee researcher, senior laboratory assistant, junior researcher , researcher, senior researcher at the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences , since 1994 the head of the sector, since 1999 the head of the laboratory, since 2003 of the year - chief researcher [1] . Deputy Director of INP for Scientific Work [2] .
Scientific activity
- Since 1994, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences (the topic of the dissertation is “Scattered electron registration systems of the MD-1 and KEDR detectors ”)
- Since 2003, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences (the theme of the dissertation is “The study of CP parity violation in B-meson decays in the Belle experiment”)
- Since 2003, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Department of Physical Sciences, Section of Nuclear Physics).
He is a member of two dissertation councils of the INP SB RAS , a member of the scientific council of the INP, a member of the joint scientific council of the SB RAS in physical and technical sciences, and a member of the Council for Scientific Planning at CERN (2005).
Teaching
He teaches at the Physics Department of Novosibirsk State University : since 1992, an assistant at the Department of Accelerator Physics, since 1996 an Associate Professor , since 2007 a professor at the Department of Elementary Particle Physics.
He developed and reads the fundamental annual course "Physics of the atomic nucleus and elementary particles", since 2005 he has been reading the special course "Physics of CP violation".
Since 2010 - Dean of the Faculty of Physics, NSU. [one]
