Biography

Ivan Kislukhin was born on August 11, 1919 in the village of Komara (now the Vereshchaginsky District of the Perm Territory ). He graduated from the agricultural technical school, after which he worked in a machine-tractor station . In 1939, Kislukhin graduated from the first course of the Chelyabinsk Institute of Mechanization.

In October of the same year, he was called up to serve in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army of the Vereshchaginsky RVK, Molotov Region. In 1942, Kislukhin graduated from the Vladivostok military-political school. From March 1944 - on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, commanded the battery of the 846th artillery regiment of the 277th rifle division of the 5th army of the 3rd Belorussian front [1] . Distinguished in battles on the territory of the Lithuanian SSR [2] . Member of the CPSU (b).

On August 20, 1944, the Kislukhin battery reflected a powerful German counterattack with 35 tanks and infantry units in the area of ​​the village of Baranda in the Sakiai region . In that battle, the gunners destroyed 1 Panther tank and up to 40 enemy soldiers and officers, repulsing two enemy attacks in a circular defense . In that battle, Kisluhin was wounded in the head from shrapnel of a torn shell during a fire adjustment. He died of the received wounds on the same day [3]. The primary burial place is the Lithuanian SSR, Vilkaviskisky uyezd, Slyuki village, northern outskirts, on the bank of the r. M.-Synthovty, edge of the forest. [one]

He was buried in the city of Kudirkos-Naumestis [2] .

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945, for "exemplary execution of command assignments and for showing courage and heroism in battles with German invaders," Lt. Ivan Kislukhin was posthumously awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union [4] . He was also posthumously awarded the Order of Lenin [2] .

In the name of Ivan Kislukhin a street was named in the town of Vereshchagino of the Perm Territory.
