Geography
The village is located at an altitude of 49 meters above sea level [1] . Between the village and the town of Rezina, the Chorna River flows through the valley (the river is 42 km long, the basin area is 294 sq. Km), [6] flowing into the Dniester.

According to the 2004 census , 1202 people live in the village of Chorn (564 men, 638 women) [2] .
