Biography
Born March 16, 1935 in Sao Paulo , Brazil. Jose studied at São Roque and then moved to the state capital, where he entered the law faculty of the University of São Paulo. There he learned about the existence of the School of Dramatic Art and joined it.
Then the theater began. He immediately entered the famous TBC (Brazilian Comedy Theater), where he played in numerous performances, such as Seed, Keeper of Promises, Death of a Traveling Salesman . During political instability, he attributed himself to supporters of the Left Communists, for which he was expelled to Bolivia. After returning, he worked on television in Sao Paulo, where he starred in television and comedy films.
Then he switched to Globa , where he received national recognition as one of Brazil's greatest actors. But his passion was always the theater. Soon, he decided to try himself as a playwright. He wrote such works as Meno Male , Hotel Paradiso , Caixa Dois .
His most memorable role is that of the scientist Augusto Albieri in the TV series The Clone .
