Story

Rhetchet and Clank are resting from saving the galaxy when they suddenly see on the news that the Tyrranoid army led by Dr. Nefarius attacked Ratchet's home planet Veldin. Ratchet and Clank go to Veldin, where they join the army of Galactic Rangers to battle the Tyranoids. Having stopped the Tyrranoids attack, the heroes contact the president of the Galaxy, Solana, who instructs them to find the "man who had previously defeated Nefarius" in the forest on the planet Florana.

Arriving at Florana, the heroes begin to search for the person they need, but find themselves in the sacred lands of the locals, which force Ratchet and Clank to pass the test and fight with their leader. Having won, the heroes recognize the distraught Captain Quark, who turns out to be the necessary person, in the leader of the local aborigines. The captain of the star cruiser Phoenix ( Eng. Starship Phoenix ), Sasha Fironiks ( Eng. Sasha Phyronix ), asks to deliver Quark to the cruiser. On the cruiser, Sasha contacts the president, who asks for the help of Ratchet and Clank on the planet Marcadia attacked by the Tyranoids, the connection is lost and the player sees Nefarius, who threatens to turn everyone into robots and rule them. Ratchet and Clank set off for Markadia, where, together with the Galactic Rangers, they free the presidential palace from the Tyrranoids. Also in Markadia, the heroes meet Big Al, who gives them a video mix about Captain Quark. Heroes decide that this can help restore Quark's memory.

Returning to the cruiser, Ratchet goes through a video mix, but he does not return Quark's memory. Sasha instructs Ratchet and Clank to get a device called The Tyhrra-Guise , which allows them to disguise themselves as Tyrranoids for introduction to them. This device is a prize in the television show Annihilation Nation ( Eng. Annihilation Nation ). Ratchet and Clank take part in the TV show, where they win the Tirragais. Meanwhile, the memory of Captain Quark is returning and the president will appoint him chief in the battle with Nefarius. Quark collects a team, Q-Force, which includes Ratchet, Clank, Sasha, Big Al, Helga, Skid McMarx, Skranch and Quark himself. Ratchet, Clank, and Skidd are assigned a mission to deploy Nefarius into the submarine base to discover his plans. The heroes learn that Dr. Nefarius is a big fan of Clank, famous for the movie "Secret Agent Clank", as well as an encrypted star map of the planet Tyrranoids - Tyranosis ( English Tyhrranosis ). Heroes, accompanied by Galactic Rangers, invaded Tyrannosis and defeated the main Tyranoid. After receiving a message from Nefarius, the heroes track it and find out that it came from the planet Dax ( English Daxx ). Having landed on Dax, Ratchet and Clank enter the weapons factory, where they learn about a device called the Biobliterator, which can turn organic life forms into robots. The heroes learn that the Biobliter was delivered to Dax in a transport ship from the Obani Moon System , where the heroes go. Unable to overcome the third level of protection, the heroes learn from Skidd that the celebrity Courtney Gears works for Nefarius. To meet Courtney, the heroes have to win another tournament in the Annihilation Nation, after which Clank invites her to star in the new movie in the Secret Agent Clank series. After filming, Courtney Gears kidnaps Clank and replaces him with an evil copy. Evil Clank directs Ratchet to the star cruiser Leviathan .

Skidd reports that Courtney Gears landed on Aubani Draco in the Aubani moon system, where heroes go. On the moon, the heroes discover the Bioblerator laboratory, with which Courtney turns Skid into a robot. Ratchet and Clank defeat Courtney Gears, after which Sasha contacts them and tells the location of Leviathan. Ratchet, the evil Clank and Captain Quark are sent to the spaceport on the planet Zeldrin ( Eng. Zeldrin ), in which the Leviathan is located. The heroes enter the Leviathan before it manages to fly away and make their way through the crowds of robots into the control room in which Dr. Nefarius is waiting for them. Nefarius activates the self-destruction of the cruiser and teleports, Ratchet and Clank manage to run to the rescue capsule, but the evil Clank activates it without waiting for Quark. An exploding cruiser with Quark on board crashes on a nearby planet.

At Phoenix, everyone is saddened by the death of their leader. Al gives Ratchet a video comic in which Quark defeats Doctor Nefarius attacking Metropolis on the planet Kerwan . Ratchet decides to go with Clank to Cervan. There he discovers Nefarius who turns on the Bioblerator and turns the inhabitants of the planet into robots. He also notes in captivity with Nefarius Clank and understands that all this time he had an evil copy with him. Defeating the evil Clank, Ratchet frees his friend. The heroes decide to check the Leviathan crash site on Zeldrin, where they find a recording in which a living Quark disguised as a woman calls a taxi. The heroes go to Quark's refuge, where they find him and find out that he had not previously defeated Nefarius, but simply sat in the shelter until Nefarius left.

Returning to the ship, the heroes receive a message that the Phoenix is attacked. Ratchet and Clank save the Phoenix and learn from Sasha that the next planet on which Nefarius plans to use the Bioblerator is Veldin, Ratchet’s home planet. Heroes decide to go to the planet Koros ( English Koros ) to destroy the Bioblerator. On Koros, the heroes use an ion cannon to destroy the Biobliter. Sasha reports that there is another Bioblerator on the planet Mylon ( English Mylon ), but this time they are expected to appear. Ratchet and Clank break through the crowds of enemies on Mylon and manage to get to the Bioblitter during. Ratchet fights with Nefarius and defeats him, but Nefarius turns the Bioblerator into a huge robot, against which Ratchet is powerless. Ratchet and Captain Quark attack the robot from the air and the robot activates self-destruction mode. The robot explodes and sends Nefarius and his assistant Lawrence into outer space on a fragment of rock.

In the end, all the characters watch a new film about Clank's secret agent, and Nefarius and Lawrence fly on a piece of rock in space without the possibility of salvation.
