Kekurny is a cape on the northeastern tip of the Chukchi Peninsula . Belongs to the Chukotka region of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug of Russia . It is a low rocky cliff on the Arctic coast of the Chukchi Sea . The nearest settlement is located 5 km east - the national village of Uelen .

It was named in 1823 by F. P. Wrangel because of the high stone pillars towering in this place - kekurs [1] .
On the shores of the cape, the Bering cormorant, burgomaster, car washes, Pacific chistik, mortars, as well as single pairs of silver gull, guillemot and hatchet nest [2] .
