History

The ancient city of Tricomia, identified today with the archaeological site “Terkoumieh” near the modern city of Hebron in the first centuries of Christianity was the center of the eparchy of the same name.

Since 1723, the Diocese of Tricomia has been the titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.
