The center is the village of Shmelevo .
History
Shmelevskoe rural settlement was established on January 1, 2006 according to the Law of the Kirov Region dated December 7, 2004 No. 284-ЗО [2] .
By the law of the Kirov region dated December 23, 2010 No. 595-ЗО [3], the settlement was abolished, settlements were included in the Svechinsky rural settlement (centered in the village of Yuma).
