Kokkaynar ( Kazakh. Kokaynar ) is a village in the Shuskiy district of the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Kokkaynarsky rural district. It is located approximately 39 km southeast of the city of Shu . The KATO code is 316643100 [1] .

Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 1,543 people (799 men and 744 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1,413 people lived in the village (712 men and 701 women) [2] .
