Belbasar ( Kaz. Belbasar ) is a village in the Shuskiy district of the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Yeskishu rural district. Located approximately on the right bank of the Chu River, 16 km southeast of the city of Shu . The KATO code is 316637100 [1] .

Work points for the reception of sugar beets, grains, a mill, a bakery and others. The Bishkek – Shu highway passes through Belbasar [2] .
Population
In 1999, the village population was 2381 people (1192 men and 1189 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 2473 people lived in the village (1236 men and 1237 women) [3] .
