Taxi Aereo de Caldas was founded in 1995.
In 2009, the company was renamed Transporte Aéreo de Colombia .

Accidents
- December 14, 1977. The aircraft Vickers Viscount (registration HK-1267) was damaged in the parking lot at the international airport Palo Negro ( Bucaramanga ) [1] .
- June 26, 2009. Let-410 (registration HK-4094) when landing at the airport of El Carano rolled out of the runway . Onboard there were 18 passengers and 3 crew members, no injuries were reported [2] .
