History

One of the largest villages in the region, founded by immigrants from Astrakhan , Tambov , Voronezh and other provinces. Already in 1866, there were 30 yards and 205 inhabitants in Astrakhan, and in 1910 the number of inhabitants increased to 1528 people.

At the beginning of the 1930s, artels were organized in Astrakhank, then the peasants united into two collective farms: the Red Fisherman and the collective farm named after the 87th Cavalry Regiment. In 1946, they merged into one - the collective farm named after Ilyich. In the fields, collective farmers grew barley, wheat, oats, rice and other crops. Since 1948, the collective farm named after Ilyich has become a millionaire collective farm.

In 1960, the collective farm named after Ilyich was reorganized into the Astrakhan state farm. The farm grew from year to year.

In 1986, construction of the House of Culture began, and after 2 years it was commissioned. Now this building belongs to a private entrepreneur. There is a disco club, bar, shop [2] .
