Cats batyr ( Kaz. Kөšek batyr auyly , until 1999 - the village of Kyzylzhar [1] ) - an aul in the Talas district of the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Kenesky rural district. The KATO code is 316237200 [2] .

In 1999, the population of the aul was 622 people (317 men and 305 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 617 people (337 men and 280 women) lived in the aul [3] .
