The rural settlement of Ermolinskoye is the abolished municipal formation ( rural settlement ) as part of the former Taldomsky municipal district of the Moscow region . The administrative center is the village of Ermolino .

Content
History
Established in the course of the municipal reform , in accordance with the Law of the Moscow Region dated February 15, 2005 No. 42/2005-OZ “On the Status and Borders of the Taldomsky Municipal District, the newly formed urban and rural settlements in it, and the municipal education. " The rural settlement included 87 settlements of four abolished administrative-territorial units - Akhtimneyevsky, Yermolinsky, Kvashenkovsky and Yurkinsky rural districts [2] [3] .
In 2009, the settlement was transformed by division into municipalities — the rural settlement of Ermolinskoye with an administrative center in the village of Ermolino and the rural settlement of Kvashenkovskoye with an administrative center in the village of Kvashenki [4] .
Geography
Located in the eastern part of Taldomsky district. In the north it borders on the rural settlement of Kvashenkovsky , in the west - on the urban settlement of Severny and the rural settlement of Guslevsky , in the south - on the rural settlement of Shemetovsky of the Sergiev Posad district , in the east - on the rural settlement of Selkovsky, Sergiev Posad district and the Kalyazinsky district of the Tver region . The area of the municipality is 38,370 ha . [five]
The modern rural settlement of Ermolinskoye is located on the territory of the Dubna bog massif - the largest in the Moscow region and included in the reserve list of wetlands of international importance. The Dubna massif is a key ornithological territory of Russia. A large number of plants, animals and birds rare for the Moscow Region are found here. [6] On the territory of the settlement there is a state reserve " Crane Homeland ", the largest central pre-accumulation site for gray cranes in Central Russia.
The rivers Dubna , Kilma , Molha , Vyulka , Hotcha flow through the territory of the settlement.
Transport is represented by the Tald - Nerl and Yurkinsky shosse highways (Taldom-Nikolo-Kropotki- P104 ). There is no rail transport.
