Story
Outside of our universe is Meha-Jigan, a parallel world inhabited by intelligent robots and controlled by two powerful supercomputers. Some time before the events presented in the first episode of the anime series, a catastrophe occurred in Meha-Jigan, which resulted in the birth of an abnormal robot - Ibalda-Dayo, also called a “mechanical demon,” a cruel and merciless tyrant with incredible strength and longing for absolute power over Mecha Jigen. Having recruited a group of supporters, Ibalda makes an attempt to capture and destroy one of the supercomputers - Bikkuay, but Bikkuy manages to transport Ibalda and his supporters to another dimension. Once in the world of people, Ibalda builds an impregnable base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Since he does not have the opportunity to return to Mecha Jigen, he plans to take over the Earth. Together with his three best supporters, Sayokka, Uyokka and Mannakka, Ibalda makes his insidious plans, but meanwhile Bikkuy sends to the Earth Golden Laitan, the strongest warrior Meh-Jigan.
In the world of people, Lightan disguises himself as a small gold lighter, which is accidentally found by twelve-year-old Hiro Taikai. Now he is the only earthling who knows about the existence of Meh Jigen and the forces of evil that threaten both worlds. Hiro and Laitan quickly become bosom friends, and when the supporters of Ibalda begin to send giant killer robots to earthlings, Hiro strives to help his mechanical friend with all his human strength, risking his life and showing either miracles of courage or sheer madness. By the end of the first half of the anime series, Hiro’s secret is still recognized by his company from the school (Samu, Amy, Bikku, Monki and Tonbo), and they agree to help Hiro and Laitan fight against Ibalda, joining forces with the five comrades of Laitan from Meh-Jigan [ 1] .
In its combat form, Golden Lightan has a height of 30 meters and weighs 200 tons. His comrades, Laitan Gundan, are slightly smaller and weaker - from 20 to 25 meters [6] .
Robots
- Golden Laitan ( ゴ ー ル ド ラ イ タ ン Guo: Rudan Raitan ) is the leader of the Golden Warrior team Laitan Gundan. It was him who was first found by Hiro. Decides to call for the help of other robots. It does not have any special super-abilities and super-weapons, unlike most super-robots, and it settles scores with enemies with bare hands in close combat, which takes dangerous damage in almost every fight. Usually it inflicts a decisive blow in the battle with the enemy, punching its body with a blow of the hand and pulling out its "heart" - the central control system. This trick is known as the Gold Crash. Disguised as a lighter.
- Sighting Laitan ( ス コ ー プ ラ イ タ ン Suko: Pu Raitan ) is one of Laitan's assistants. Disguised as an optical sight. Specializes in finding enemies and finding their weak points. He is also an expert in intelligence.
- Temporary Laitan ( タ イ ム ラ イ タ ン Taimu Raitan ) is one of Laitan's assistants. Disguised as a timer. It can “freeze” time for 30 seconds. Although his combat capabilities are limited, he is extremely valuable in the team, as he is able to control time.
- Denji Laitan ( Jap. デ ン ジ ラ イ タ ン Denji Raitan ) is one of Laitan’s assistants. It specializes in locations, directions, and usually leads the rest of the robots to the desired goal.
- Mechanical Laitan ( メ カ ニ ッ ク ラ イ タ ン Mekanniku Raitan ) is one of the helpers of Laitan. Disguised as a tool box. It can quickly repair any equipment, including wounded robots. He is a team mechanic.
- Coin Laitan ( コ イ ン ラ イ タ ン Koino Raitan ) is one of the assistants. Disguised as a coin. Does not appear in the series.
- Printed Laitan ( プ リ ン ト ラ イ タ ン Purinto Raitan ) is one of the assistants. Disguised by a printed stamp. Does not appear in the series.
- Light Lightan ( я イ ト ラ イ タ ン Raito Raitan ) is one of the assistants. Disguised as a light source. Does not appear in the series.
- Carver Laitan ( カ ッ タ ー ラ イ タ ン Katta: Raitan ) is one of the assistants. Disguised as a pencil sharpener. Does not appear in the series.
- Meter Laitan ( メ ー ト ル ラ イ タ ン Me: Toru Raitan ) is one of the assistants. Turns into a measuring device. Does not appear in the series.
- I.S. Laitan ( ア イ シ ー ラ イ タ ン Aishi: Raitan ) is one of the assistants. It has a developed computer system that allows it to process any information about synthetic and biological species and translate from any language - even from dolphin.
