Story
The film is about the tragic love of a young driver working on a large highway between the Issyk-Kul and Tien Shan (now Naryn) regions of Kyrgyzstan . Now this route is part of the Bishkek - Torugart road leading to Western China through the Torugart pass. The main events take place on the Dolon pass between the Naryn and Kochkor districts (3030 meters above sea level) and in the town of Rybachye (now Balykchi ).
