Biography
Since 1986 he took private lessons in composition and conducting art, attended master classes by Morton Feldman and John Cage . In 1994 he graduated from the Royal Conservatory in composition and conducting. Trained at the Tanglewood Music Center with Mario Davidowski and Louis Andrissen . He performed with major orchestras in the Netherlands, Italy, Ireland and others. He conducted symphonic and opera compositions - from European romantics ( Beethoven , Schubert , Berlioz ) to contemporary Dutch composers (Cornelis de Bondt, Michelle van der Aa , etc.), recorded several CDs. In 2008 and 2009 he was the art director of the Dutch Music Festival in Amsterdam .
