Pediobius aphidiphagus

Pediobius aphidiphagus (lat.) Is a species of parasitic riders of the genus Pediobius from the family Eulophidae ( Chalcidoidea ) of the order Hymenoptera . North America (Canada, USA, Costa Rica). Pronotum with neck delimited by keel (transverse crest). Shield of the mesoscutum with developed curved parapsidal grooves. Associated with aphids Macrosiphum euphorbiae ( Aphididae ), walnut germs of the genus Amphibolips ( Cynipidae ) and plants Quercus sp., Quercus brenesii ( Fagaceae ) [2] [1] .
