History
The history of Divnogorie is connected with the names of the Russian geologist, Professor Mikhail Buranchuk and his friend, the teacher Solomon Naffert. Russian geologist Professor Mikhail Buranchuk, as early as the 20s of the 20th century, argued that man formed in the depths of the Earth and only then left the caves to the surface. The scientist conducted research near the village of Kostenki, Voronezh Province. Judging by the letters of the scientist, he found evidence of civilized human activity there that was at least fifty thousand years old. Professor Buranchuk was last seen when they and a local teacher descended into the White Glow cave, located in the Divnogorye district of the Voronezh region. Both researchers from the mysterious dungeons did not come out. Searches were conducted for several days, but no trace of them was found.
