Story
In an unknown German-speaking country reminiscent of Austria from the decadence , a young widowed queen secluded herself in her castle Kranz. She is tired of the constant struggle for power and hatred of the Archduke, the mother of her late husband, whose spies are constantly surrounded. In addition, her life is in danger. At night, the poet and anarchist Stanislas, who plans to assassinate the queen, gets into Kranz Castle at night. The queen is struck by the resemblance of a stranger to her late husband. Stanislas is surprised to see a young and beautiful queen, not like the one described to him. Crazy passion that flashed between the queen and the anarchist makes them forget about the whole world for three days. The police chief, informed of everything that is happening in the Kranz castle by his spies, is concerned about this turn of events, but he leaves Stanislas free on the condition that he must kill the queen. The Queen is planning a coup in the hope of regaining power. Once the queen is found in the castle of Kranz with a dagger stabbed, and Stanislas - dead from poison. What really happened in Kranz Castle - an accident, an attempted escape, murder, suicide? - remains unknown.
