Ekaterina Innokentevna Novgorodova (born April 13, 1929 , Kytanakh village, Churapchinsky ulus , Yakutsk Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ) is an agronomist-vegetable grower of the Lenin collective farm of the Megino-Kangalassky district of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Honored agronomist of the Russian Federation . Hero of Socialist Labor (1973).

Biography

She was born on April 13, 1929 in the village of Kytanakh, Churapchinsky Ulus, of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in a peasant family.

From early childhood she worked on the collective farm.

In 1948, she was appointed secretary of the Kytanakh Assembly Council, then an instructor at the Churapcha District Council.

In 1955 she graduated from the agricultural school of managerial personnel in the city of Yakutsk . Having received the diploma of an agronomist, she worked as a foreman of the integrated brigade in the Churapchinsky region.

From 1957 he was a junior agronomist of the Lenin collective farm in the Megino-Kangalassky district , then he headed the vegetable-growing brigade of the farm for more than 30 years.

A team of vegetable growers, skillfully led by Novgorodova E.I., during the years of the five-year plans, achieved high production results.

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 11, 1973, the high brigade of the Lenin Megino-Kangalassky District of Novgorodova, Ekaterina Innokentievna, was given the high title of Hero of Socialist Labor for high production rates for growing vegetables.

Deputy of the Council of the Union of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR 8–11 convocations [1] [2] [3] [4] (1970–1989) of the Yakut ASSR.

He lives in Yakutsk.
