Story
The young girl Iffet lives with her father Ahmed and her younger sister in the old and modest district of Istanbul. She is in love with Jamil, a taxi driver, and dreams of becoming his wife. But Jamil cannot marry her, as he is poor and cannot feed her family. But he promises Iffet to marry her, and she continues to secretly meet with him. Iffet takes a job at the mansion where her aunt Saima works for businessman Ali. At the wedding of Iffet's girlfriend, Jamil drinks and rapes Iffet, who decides not to tell her father about it. Her younger sister learns the secret of Iffet. Wanting to make peace with Iffet, Jamil sets fire to his car, which was his only income. Then Jamil is in poverty. Upon learning that Iffet is pregnant, he wants to flee the city. But Iffet's friend, Beatul, who is in love with Jamil, cut her veins that very night. The parents of Bitul are rich people, and they are ready for anything for the sake of their daughter. They “buy” Jamil. He refuses Iffet, offers her an abortion. Ahmed beats his daughter half to death, learning about her pregnancy, and kicks him out of the house. Iffet is taken to the hospital by her boss Ali, who saw the scene of her beating. In the hospital, she is losing a child. Ali invites her to live in his house. Jamil is going to marry Beatul, but cannot forget Iffet. At the wedding, Ahmed injured him with a knife, who learned about the incident with Iffet, after which he himself surrendered to the police. Jamil refuses to write a statement against him, realizing his guilt. Ahmed, while in prison, forgives Iffet and asks his daughter to forgive him too. Ali's daughter Nile returned to Ali's house from London. At first she very affably accepted Iffet, but after the slander of her relatives, Nil changed her attitude towards her. Ali goes against her relatives, protecting Iffet, falls in love with her. Ali goes to Iffet's house and there she proposes to her with her sister and aunt, declares her love. Iffet agrees.
