Ob-Irtysh River Shipping Company (full name - Public [1] Joint-Stock Company Ob-Irtysh River Shipping Company, JSC OIRP ) is a Russian water transport company with headquarters in Tyumen. It plays a large role in ensuring freight traffic, northern delivery in Western Siberia, and also in the development of gas and oil-bearing regions of the Far North.

History
PJSC "OIRP" was formed by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR in 1982. The need to create an enterprise was caused by the active development of the subsoil of the Tyumen region and, as a result, the increasing volume of cargo transportation. Vessels delivered oil produced in the fields of the region by tankers and oil barges to the Omsk oil refinery, and construction cargoes for the construction of oil and gas pipelines to the north of the region. Company Management
PJSC “OIRP”, as well as subsidiaries, are managed by the managing organization LLC “Mezhregionflot” under an agreement on the transfer of authority of the sole executive body.
The general director of Mezhregionflot LLC is Evgeny Kormyshov. Deputy General Director for Economics - Denis Chebanyuk Fedorovich [3] .
Activities
Currently, the geography of the company extends from Yamal to the Caspian. For 30 years, the fleet of OIRP JSC annually participates in the transportation along the Northern Sea Route of large-sized heavy equipment for the construction and development of production of oil and gas condensate plants in Western Siberia (Omsk, Tobolsk, Tomsk, Surgut, Urengoy, etc.), energy enterprises (Nizhnevartovsk, Serov, Nyagan and other). Today, the fleet of the sea coastal shipping company has 138 barges with a total tonnage of 270 thousand tons, including barges with ramps for unloading heavyweights using the RO-RO method, 53 units of a self-propelled fleet with a capacity of 300 to 2400 liters each. with., having modern navigation equipment, staffed by experienced certified navigators [4] . Over the past 5 years, the riverboats of the shipping company delivered more than 2 million tons of cargo to Kharasavey and along the river. Muzzles-Yakhas for the Bovanenkovo gas condensate field are involved in the transportation of goods to Sabetta and Se-Yakhu.
The structure of JSC “OIRP” includes a complex of subsidiary, dependent enterprises. Among them are river ports in Salekhard, Urengoy, Surgut, Nefteyugansk, Sergino, Tyumen; repair enterprises “Ship repair Tyumen” and “Ship repair Sumkino” (Tobolsk); shipping companies Severneftegazflot (Arkhangelsk) and Astrakhan Ob-Irtyshflot.
In addition to the carriage of goods by inland river and sea routes, JSC “OIRP” provides the following services:
- loading and unloading and storage of goods;
- receiving goods from the railway to river ports and working with related modes of transport;
- design activities for the conversion of ships;
- design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of winter and year-round crossings to ensure passage through water barriers;
- repair of ship radio navigation equipment and provision of ship radio communication;
- mining and supply of construction sand and gravel.
In the navigation of 2014, 1,028.81 thousand tons of cargo were transported. The enterprise is considered to be the basis of the transport system of the Ob-Irtysh basin and is the dominant carrier on the Northern Sea Route from Arkhangelsk to the mouth of the Ob, to the Ob , Irtysh, Tobol, Taz, Pur, Sabetta-Yah, Nurma-Yah and others.
For many years, OIRP JSC has been operating on the Salekhard-Priobye-Salekhard freight and passenger ferry line, which is the only artery through which vehicles from Salekhard get to the mainland. For navigation in 2014, 5 570 vehicles were transported. Tickets for ferry crossings are sold online on the OIRP website [5] .
