History

The Bologovsk branch of the Oktyabrskaya railway was formed in accordance with the order of the NKPS dated May 14, 1936 No. 63-t “On the disaggregation of the departments of the operation service” [1] . The structure of the department included the following areas: Spirovo (exclusive) - Okulovka (included), Uglovka - Borovichi , Okulovka - Lyubytino ; later on, the Lyubytino- Nebolchi (exc.) and Okulovka- Malaya Vishera (included) sections were included in the department. In 1955, in connection with the liquidation of the Kalinin Railway, the Medvedev branch of the Kalinin Railway was joined to the Bologovsky branch. In 1996, the Bologovsk branch was liquidated, service areas became part of the Moscow and St. Petersburg branches of the October Railway . Until 2002, there was a Bologovsky subdivision of the Moscow branch of the October Railway.
