The Bologovsky junction is a large transit railway junction of the October Railway .
The Bologovsky railway junction was formed in the late XIX - early XX centuries. In 1870 , to connect the Rybinsk river port with St. Petersburg, the Bologoe-Rybinsk railway [1] was built, in 1897 the Bologoe-Pskov railway [2] , and in 1907 the Bologoe-Polotsk railway [3] . Thus, the Bologoe station of the Nikolaev railway , opened in 1850, became a major junction with traffic in five directions ( Moscow , St. Petersburg , Rybinsk , Pskov , Polotsk ). At the stations Bologoe-I, Medvedevo and Bologoe-II there were train depots , at the stations Bologoe and Medvedevo there were car depots .
The Bologovsky node is of radial type [4] , it serves mainly transit traffic. The Moscow - St. Petersburg section is a double-track, electrified, passenger-stressed section; high-speed trains are moving on the section. The section Rybinsk - Pskov is single-track, non-electrified, cargo-intensive. The Bologoe – Velikiye Luki section is a single-track, non-electrified, and not active [5] .
The structure of the node includes the following stations: Bologoe-Moskovskoye - an extra-curricular precinct; Bologoe-Polotsk - district 4th class; Medvedev - Intermediate 4th grade; Bushevets - intermediate 4th class; Zlino is intermediate grade 5.

- Bologovsky production site of the Moscow mechanized loading and unloading distance;
- Shooting team Bologoe of the Moscow detachment of departmental security;
- Bologovsky detachment of departmental security.
The node employs more than 4,000 people [6] .
