Biography
In 1865 he graduated from the Law Faculty of Moscow University .
In the period from 1865 to 1867 he worked in the Moscow archive of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Empire under the leadership of N.V. Kalachov , in the office of the Moscow District Court, as a fellow prosecutor in Kharkov .
After that, for almost 20 years he was βone of the outstandingβ [1] jurors of the district of the Kharkov Judicial Chamber. After the creation of the Council of Jury Attorneys at the Kharkov Judicial Chamber in 1874, S.F. Moroshkin was first a fellow chairman [2] , and then the chairman of the Council of jury attorneys.
In 1887, he was appointed a member (judge) of the Kharkov court of justice, and in the early 1890s he was offered the position of chairman of the department of the chamber, but he refused, believing that there were more worthy candidates.
He died on June 25, 1900 in Karachevka, Kharkov province .
