Biography
Kirill Stolyarov was born on January 28, 1937 in Moscow in the family of the famous actor Sergei Stolyarov .
Cyril followed in his father's footsteps and entered VGIK . Even during his studies, Kirill Stolyarov starred in four films: “The Heart Beats Again”, “The Tale of First Love”, “ Peers ”, “Man to Man”. After graduating from VGIK there were films “They were nineteen”, “ Life first ”, “Last volleys”, “Ask your heart”, “Pyotr Ryabinink”.
Since 1959, Kirill Stolyarov worked in the Theater-Studio of the film actor . In addition to working in the theater and cinema, he toured a lot with concerts, prepared several solo programs in which he read verses by S. A. Yesenin . In 1972, in the film “The Dawns Here Are Quiet, ” he played his father. In the late 1980s, Stolyarov was appointed chief director of the Theater Studio of the film actor.
Since 1991, he began working on television, where as an author and presenter he prepared a series of programs “Actors and Fates” about prominent artists of Russian cinema, as well as a heading “Past” on the best historical films, a series of programs “St. Andrew's Flag”, dedicated to 300 anniversary of the Russian fleet , the program "New Illusion".
Kirill Sergeyevich Stolyarov was an adviser to the head of the Federal Service for Television and Radio of Russia, president of the Sergei Stolyarov Cultural and Educational Foundation. The foundation helps retired actors. The Foundation created an extensive program to revive the monuments of Russian bookishness, in the framework of which the rarest and most valuable rare books from the library of the imperial family were restored and reissued. The objective of the project was to popularize and make these priceless publications available to bibliophiles, researchers, and interested readers in the country's libraries. Many miniatures from the Face and Chronicles of St. Sergius, the Radonezh miracle worker, were restored from an almost lost book. Audio versions of priceless books, a series of television cognitive programs and radio programs were also released. A program has been created for the revival of Russian culture for schoolchildren, within the framework of which sets of classic Russian films of the highest artistic and cultural quality, replaced by an illiterate foreign mass product, were distributed to educational institutions.
He died in the late evening of October 11, 2012 . He was buried in Moscow at the Vagankovsky cemetery .
