Biography

Mora is a graduate of the Huventud Club Football Academy. In 2006, he made his debut for the main team at the age of 20. In 2008, Rodrigo moved to Defensor Sporting . In the new team, he did not often get into the starting lineup, so in 2009 he went on loan to Cerro . On October 4, Rodrigo made his debut in a new team in a match against Rampla Juniors . [2] On January 24, 2010, Mora scored his debut goal in a duel against Rampla. [3] After returning to Defensor, he became the main striker and scored 11 goals in 15 matches.

In the winter of 2011, Mora signed a contract with the Portuguese Benfica . On January 8, in a duel against Leiria , he made his debut in the Portuguese Championship [4] . Rodrigo could not gain a foothold in Benfica and went on loan to Peñarol . On February 29, in a duel against Belle Vista , he made his debut for a new club [5] . In the same match Rodrigo scored his first goal for a new club. In Peñarole, Mora scored 10 goals in 14 meetings.

Upon returning to Portugal , the Lisbon club immediately re-rented it. The new Club of Mora has become the Argentinean River Plate . On September 3, 2012, in his match against Colon , he made his debut in the Argentinean Example [6] . A week later, in a match against the Newells Old Boys , Mora scored his debut River Plate goal and also made two assists. In January 2019, the 31-year-old Mora announced the completion of a football career due to persistent leg pain - the consequences of old injuries. Soon Rodrigo starred in an episodic role in the Argentinean series El Marginal [10] .
