Space Emperor God Σ ( Jap. 宇宙 大帝 ゴ ッ ド Σ Utyu Taitei Goddo Siguma , Space Emperor God Sigma) is a Japanese anime series released by Toei Animation . It was broadcast on Tokyo 12 Channel from March 19, 1980 to March 25, 1981 . In total, 50 anime episodes have been released. The series was dubbed in Italian [1] .

Story
Until 2050, human civilization developed peacefully and managed to achieve a high level in technology and science. Despite this, an energy crisis loomed over the Earth due to overpopulation. Professor Kazami in his laboratory, located in the middle of the ocean, is developing a device with an inexhaustible source of energy, known as "triple energy", for research in space.
Meanwhile, Held's alien empire learns about the invention and sends an army to invade Earth to gain such power. They destroy the human colony on the planet Io , thereby unleashing a war. Professor Kadzami attaches three pilots to his robots: assistant Gilian Noguchi and two teenagers who escaped from Io - Toshiya Dan and Kiraken Kensaku. The fight between the Heldians lasted a long time, but in the end the aliens suffered a serious defeat, having lost a fort. As a result, the Heldians go back in time to prevent an attack on themselves.
In a parallel timeline, the Heldians (in episode 33) again attempt to attack the Earth, while using more force and terror, however, the Sigma robot wins them again and restores peace on Earth.
Interesting Facts
3 robots: Kaimeyyo (right leg), Kurayo, (torso) and Rikushinyo (left leg) are connected to the super-robot God Σ , which has a height of 66 meters and weighs about 1200 tons [2] .
