Hvorostyansky district is an administrative-territorial unit within the Central Black Earth , Voronezh , Ryazan and Lipetsk regions of the RSFSR , which existed in 1928-1933 and 1934-1960. The administrative center is Hvorostyanka .

Hvorostyansk district was formed in 1928 as part of the Kozlovsky district of the Central Black Earth region . On September 16, 1929, the district was transferred to the Usman district . After the liquidation of the districts in 1930, the district became directly subordinate to the region.
On February 1, 1933, the Khvorostyansky district was abolished. Moreover, its territory was divided as follows:
- in Gryazinsky district - Korobovsky, Prince-Baigorsky and Podvorsky village councils
- Dobrinsky district - Bogoroditsky 3rd, Durovsky, Nikolsky, Nizhne-Matryonsky, Olkhovsky, Oskochensky, Pushkinsky, Saltychkovsky, Sredne-Matryonsky and Hvorostyansky s / s
- in Dryazginsky district - Vasilievsky and Plastinsky s / s
- in the Shekhmansky district - Ivanovsky and Shumilovsky s / s.
On January 18, 1935, after the Central Chernozem region was divided into Kursk and Voronezh , the Hvorostyansk region was restored as part of the last of the Dobrinsky and Gryazinsky districts.
On January 6, 1954, the Khvorostyansky district was transferred to the Lipetsk region .
On June 21, 1960, the Hvorostyansky district was abolished, and its territory was divided between the Gryazinsky and Dobrinsky districts.
