Birlik (Moyynkum district)

Birlik ( Kaz. Birlik ) is a village in the Moyynkum district of the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Birlik rural district. Located about 52 km southeast of the district center, aul Moyynkum . The KATO code is 315635100 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 3588 people (1799 men and 1789 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 3,157 people lived in the village (1,549 men and 1,608 women) [2] .
