Cherepetsky district is an administrative-territorial unit within the Moscow and Tula regions of the RSFSR that existed in 1929-1958. The administrative center was first Skull , and then Likhvin ( Chekalin ).

Cherepetsky district was formed on July 12, 1929 as part of the Kaluga district of the Moscow region on the territory of the former Likhvin district of the Kaluga province . The district includes the city of Likhvin, the working village of Cherepet, Pesochensky and Hanino , as well as the village councils: Abbakumovsky, Anikovsky, Arkhangelsky, Balevsky, Berezovsky, Middle Rusanovsky, Bogdanovsky, Bolotsky, Vasilyevsky, Veretyevsky, Govorenkovsky, Gushchinsky, Dal'ner-Rus , Zhalkovsky, Zhereminsky, Znamensky, Zyabrevsky, Ilyinsky, Isakovsky, Kamyshensky, Kipetsky, Klevtsovsky, Kosolapovsky, Krasno-Mikhailovsky, Kuleshovsky, Leninsky, Lobzhinsky, Malakhovsky, Malyatinsky, Markovsky, Mashkovsky, Mikhailo sky, Mishnevsky, Nicholas Gastunsky, Novoslobodskaya, Palaginsky, Pereslavichevsky, Peskovatsky, Pleshkovsky, Polshevsky, Rzhavetsky, Christmas, Svoinsky, Tarasevsky, Tsepinsky and Shirayevskaya.
On May 20, 1930, the Ilyinsky s / s was transferred from the Cherepetsk region to Peremyshl .
In 1930, the districts were abolished and the district became directly subordinate to the Moscow region.
On February 1, 1931, Istominsky s / s was transferred from the abolished Ferzikovsky region to Cherepetsky.
March 5, 1935 was abolished Pleshkovsky s / s.
March 31, 1936 Abbakumovsky and Lobzhinsky s / s were transferred to the Dubensky district . On June 19, Istominsky s / s was transferred to the Dugninsky district .
September 26, 1937 Cherepetsky district was assigned to the Tula region [1] .
February 15, 1944 from part of the Cherepetsk region was formed Khaninsky district . At the same time, the Cherepetsk district was renamed the Chekalinsky district .
On August 1, 1958, the center of the Khaninsky district was moved from the working village of Khanino to the city of Suvorov , the Khaninsky district was renamed the Suvorov district , the Chekalinsky district was abolished, and its territory was transferred to the Suvorov district.
