Morgan-Boulevard ( eng. Morgan Boulevard ) - Ground open ( open-cut ) interchange station of the Washington Metro on the Blue and Silver [2] lines. Peak hours are also served by the Orange Line . It is represented by one island platform. The design name of the station is Summerfield; it was changed in 2002 to the current one due to the renaming of Summerfield-Boulevard Street to Morgan-Boulevard, in honor of inventor Garrett Morgan [3] . The station is served by the . Located in Landover [4] at Garrett-Morgan-Boulevard and Central Avenue. Nearby is FedEx Field , which is the home of the Washington Redskins . It is one of several stations not served by WMATA Metrobus buses.

The station was opened on December 18, 2004 .
The opening of the station was combined with the completion of the construction of the railway line with a length of 5.1 km and the opening of another station - Largo-town-center , which became the final for the Blue Line [5] [6] . The opening of the Silver line is scheduled for 2013 [7] .
