Karakemer ( Kazakh. Karakemer ) is a village in the Ryskulovsky district of the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Kumaryk rural district. It is located about 155 km west of the district center, the village of Kulan . The KATO code is 315041600 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 243 people (123 men and 120 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 838 people lived in the village (410 men and 428 women) [2] .
