Caloptilia dubatolovi (lat.) Is a species of speckled moths ( Gracillariidae ) from the genus Caloptilia . Russia , endemic of the Far East (south of the Khabarovsk Territory , " Bolshekhekhtsirsky Reserve "). Fore wing length 4.5 mm. The general color is grayish with brown marks. Morphologically close to the widespread species Caloptilia elongella ( Linnaeus , 1761) . The species was first described in 2007 by entomologist Svetlana Vladimirovna Baryshnikova ( St. Petersburg , Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences ) and named after the Russian lepidopterologist Vladimir Dubatolov ( Novosibirsk , Institute of Animal Systematics and Ecology SB RAS ) [1] [2] .
