Geography
The city is located in the central part of Isfahan, approximately 107 kilometers northeast (NNE) from Isfahan , the provincial capital, and 216 kilometers southeast (SSE) from Tehran , the country's capital. The absolute height is 1001 meters above sea level [2] .

According to the census, in 2006 the population of the city was 3,308 people [3] .
