Muzbel (Zhambyl region)

Muzbel ( Kaz. Mұzbel , before 199? Kurdai) is a village in the Kordai district of the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Alga rural district. The KATO code is 314832600 [1] .

Population

In 1999, the village population was 270 people (144 men and 126 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 184 people lived in the village (104 men and 80 women) [2] .

History

The 23rd regiment of the 8th Guards Rifle Division was located in the village .

The first in the post-Soviet space mountain wind farm with a capacity of 1.5 MW was launched at the Kordaysky pass in the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan in 2011 [3] . The height of the site is 1200 meters above sea level. The average annual wind speed is 5.9 m / s. In 2014, the number of Vista International wind turbines with a capacity of 1.0 MW at the Kordayskaya Wind Farm was increased to 9 units with a design capacity of 21 MW. [4] . In October 2016, the number of units of the Kordai wind farm reached 40.
