The European route E125 is a Category A automobile European automobile route , passing from north to south through Russia , Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and connecting the cities of Ishim , Astana and Bishkek [1] [2] .

History
Reconstruction of the Astana-Schuchinsk highway began in 2006. and lasted 3 years, the road was put into operation in 2009. [7]
Paid fare on the Astana - Schuchinsk section was introduced in 2013. [4] [8] .
2013-2016 The reconstruction of the Astana – Temirtau and Almaty – Kapshagay roads [9] has begun. In 2017-2018 reconstruction of the Temirtau-Karaganda road. [ten]
In 2017 The reconstruction of the Kokshetau-Petropavlovsk section has been completed [11]
In the second quarter of 2018, sections Astana - Temirtau, Almaty - Kapshagai will become paid [12]
In 2018, it is planned to start the Balkhash-Burylbaital (297 km) section at the expense of the World Bank and Kurt-Kapshagai (67 km), Karaganda-Balkhash (364 km) in 2019. [13]
