In 1991 he graduated from the operator department of VGIK , since 1990 he worked at the Lenfilm studio. The first major work is The Castle (dir. Alexei Balabanov ).
He died of a heart attack on January 25, 2007 [1] . He was buried in the Khovansky cemetery [2] .
