It is part of the Korenevsky village council [3] .

Located in the central part of the district. The distance to the Smorgon district center by road is about 12 km, to the center of the village council of Koreni village in a straight line is slightly less than 7 km. The nearest settlements are Lysychino , Lubyanka , Podzelyaya [4] . The area occupied is 0.8120 km², the length of the borders is 10780 m [5] .

According to the census, the population of Gautei in 1999 totaled 188 people [6] .

The local highway N7941 is connected to the republican highway P63 Borisov - Vileyka - Oshmyany . Gauti is also connected by local roads [7] :

  • H6758 with Birch trees ;
  • H7940 with a bee association of the village of Gauti;
  • H7942 with Lubyanka;
  • H7989 with Hoteni

To the north of the village is the Gauti railway platform on the Molodechno - Gudogai section of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Railway .

Regular buses stop at the P63 highway near the village [8] :

  • Smarhoń - Valeykovichi
  • Smorgon - Kushlyany

Near Gautei there is a German cemetery for the participants of the First World War with a monument and a Catholic chapel [9] .
