Season Prep

Upon returning from the last match of the 2012/2013 season, the players received two weeks of rest. [one]

On May 28, 2013, FC Rotor successfully passed the licensing procedure. [2]

On June 10, 2013, the players left short-term leave and began preparations for the season. On this day, the players under the leadership of Valery Burlachenko held an easy training session from warm-ups and runs. The team began full-time classes on June 11. [3]

On June 15, 2013, the team went to the only pre-season training camp in Hungary . Like last season , Rotor was based in the city of Buk , where the team traveled with transfers - first from Volgograd to Moscow , then from Moscow to Vienna , and from Vienna by bus to the sports complex in Buck. [four]

Before the gathering, the team was replenished: goalkeeper Ilya Gavrilov (from Khimki FC), defenders Stepan Ryabokon (for rent), Vitaliy Ustinov (from FC Neftekhimik ), Abdel Lamange (from FC Shinnik ), and Pyotr Ten (rent) , midfielder Dmitry Komarovsky (from FC Gomel ). Together with the team on the TCB there were potential newcomers: Serbian midfielder Srjan Dimitrov ( “Indiya” ) and striker Maxim Barsov ( “Volga” Ulyanovsk ) [5] [6] .

At the training camp, Rotor played three control matches: June 21 with the Bosnian FC Sarajevo (victory 1-0), June 25 with the Orenburg FC Gazovik (0-0) and June 28 with the Croatian FC Split (defeat 1: 3).

On June 29, 2013, the team returned to Volgograd, where they continued preparations for the season.

Winter fees

First

On November 25, the team went on vacation. All football players received individual training schedules from the physical training coach, which they had to carry out throughout the entire absence of team training. [7]

January 9, 2014 the team left vacation. Early in the morning, some of the players and administrative staff flew from Gumrak airport to Moscow, where the rest of the team joined the delegation. From Moscow, Rotor went on a two-week training camp to Cyprus , where the team was based in Ayia Napa [8] .

The team did not fly to the first winter TCF: defender Ilya Ionov , midfielders Dmitry Komarovky (transferred to FC Gomel ) and Alexander Nechaev , striker Alexander Stavpec (transferred to FC Ural ), as well as defender Mikhail Merkulov , who was called in the Russian youth team for the Commonwealth Cup 2014 [9] , and goalkeeper Ilya Gavrilov , who was looking for a new team. [eight]

Potential newcomers were watching: goalkeeper Denis Kniga ( Dynamo Bryansk ), midfielder Alexander Semyachkin ( Terek-2 ) and striker Dmitry Agaptsev ( MITOS ) [10] [11] .
