The Apostolic Nunciature in Antigua and Barbuda was established on a permanent basis on December 15, 1986, the log Ut et publica Ecclesiae of Pope John Paul II . However, the apostolic nuncio does not have an official residence in Antigua and Barbuda, in its capital St. John's, and is an apostolic nuncio part-time, visiting the country occasionally. The residence of the apostolic nuncio in Antigua and Barbuda is Port of Spain , the capital of Trinidad and Tobago .
