Saryarka district ( Kazakh. " Saryarka " audany ) is an administrative-territorial unit of the city of Nur-Sultana . Established May 6, 1998.

Territory
Until March 16, 2018, the area of the district was 196.62 km² [2] [3] , the territory of the district included inter-strip sites, one of which had (according to the land cadastre) an area of 384.6 hectares [4] and was located in the Koyandy tract to the west of the dacha massif (at that time the inter-strip section of the Almaty district of Nur-Sultan (at that time Astana), lying between the P-4 highway (Astana-Ereymentau) and the Koyanda reservoir).
On February 7, 2018, the composition of the district from the territory of the Tselinograd district of the Akmola region was transferred to a cross-strip plot of 460 hectares, intended to house the city cemetery [2] .
On March 16, 2018, most of the area was transferred to the newly formed Baikonur district and decreased to 67.75 km² [1] .
