Stolypin, Alexey Emelyanovich

Alexei Emelyanovich Stolypin (1744 - July 1817) - Penza landowner from the Stolypin family, provincial leader of the nobility (1787-1790), great-grandfather of M. Yu. Lermontov and P. A. Stolypin .

The son of a retired captain, Penza voivodship comrade Emelyan Semenovich and his wife Martha Matveevna. He began his service in 1749 in the army. In 1757 he studied at the gymnasium at Moscow University , in 1758 he was transferred to the horse guard .

In 1759 he was promoted to corporal and in the same year granted to the Life Campaign by the Grenadier. In 1762, when the Life campaign was unbroken, he was dismissed with the rank of lieutenant . With the formation of the Penza governorship, he headed a conscientious court (1780-85). He was engaged in distilling and supplying wine to the treasury. Possessed home ownership in the Bolshoi Znamensky Lane .

From 1787 to 1790, Stolypin was the Penza provincial leader of the nobility. In 1790 he had lands, distilleries and 1,146 souls in the Penza governorship, and in 1811 he had lands and peasants in the Penza, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Saratov, Simbirsk provinces. He died in July 1817. Married to Maria Afanasyevna Mescherinova, had 11 children [1] :

  • Elizabeth (1773-1845), in 1794 she married Mikhail Vasilyevich Arsenyev (1768-1810), the founder of the estate of Tarkhany ; their grandson is the poet M. Yu. Lermontov .
  • Alexander (1774-1846), in the Swiss campaign of 1799, was adjutant to A.V. Suvorov , then retired, a college assessor.
  • Catherine (1775-1830), married to Major General Akim Vasilyevich Hastatov .
  • Alexander (1777-1842), married to the Moscow vice-governor of the d.s.s Alexander Mikhailovich Evreinov .
  • Arkady (1778-1825), senator, friend of Speransky , father of the Mongo .
  • Peter (1779-1797)
  • Nikolai (1781-1830), lieutenant general, hero of the Patriotic War of 1812.
  • Tatiana (1782-18 ..), married to Shan-Girey.
  • Dmitry (1785-1826), major general, father of Lieutenant General A. D. Stolypin , grandfather of the reformer P. A. Stolypin .
  • Natalia (1786-1851), married to the Penza provincial leader of the nobility Grigory Danilovich Stolypin.
  • Athanasius (1788-1866), retired staff captain, Saratov provincial leader of the nobility; married to the granddaughter of M. A. Ustinov had a daughter, Natalia .
