Stictodepsa (lat.) - a genus of winged insects from the humpback family ( Endoiastinae , Membracidae ). Neotropics : South America ( Guyana ). Head with anterodorsal protrusions on top. The tibia of the hind pair of legs with hood- shaped setae ( cucullate setae ) in row III, but such setae are absent in row I (females) or rows I and II (males). The pronotum does not protrude and does not hang over the scutellum (the scutellum is pointed at the back). Hind wings with reduced venation, marginal vein absent [1] .
