Content
History
For the first time this village was mentioned in 1782 as the "Village above the Spring", but in 1795 it was renamed the "Village above the Spring, the same Zhiganovo." The modern name "Zhiginovo" appeared after 1928.
Agriculture
There were 2 farms and 1 calf in the village, where 4 milkmaids worked. There was one caterpillar tractor throughout the village, but it belonged to a farm, but almost every family had a horse. Around swamps and small forests. The village had a forge, a warehouse, a dryer, a chenille workshop and a workshop where pillows were made.
Wartime
During the war years, 27 people went to the front with the village of Zhiginovo.
