The Apostolic Vicariate of Inirida ( Latin: Vicariatus Apostolicus Iniridanus ) is the apostolic Vicariate of the Roman Catholic Church with its center in the city of Inirida . The Inirida Apostolic Vicariate reports directly to the Holy See and extends its jurisdiction over parts of the Wichad department and the Guaynia department.

History
The missionary activity of the Catholic Church in the Department of Guainia among the Indians began only in the 50s of the 20th century. Prior to this, various Protestant churches preached here in the 40s of the 20th century.
On November 30, 1996, Pope John Paul II issued the bull Studiosam sane curam , which divided the Apostolic Vicariate of Mitu Inirida into the Apostolic Vicariate of Mitu and the Apostolic Vicariate of Inirida.
