Story
Su Kang is a general who leads an army to save the prince from a large fortress in the mountains. The prince promises to make Su the governor of Hubei . Su's stepbrother, Yuan, envies him. Despite this, Su loves him and asks the prince to appoint Yuan as governor. Su wants to leave the service, go home and open a Wushu school there, in which he will teach people this martial art. Su gives her big sword to Colonel Ma and tells Yuan about his plans. Yuan becomes governor. In the early morning of the next day, Su sets off on horseback.
Five years later, Su and his wife Ying, sister of Yuan, already have a son named Feng. Su's father tells them that Yuan is coming soon. He warns Su that Yuan may have bad intentions. This is because years earlier, Father Su killed Father Yuan when he went too far in the study of military equipment called "Five Poison Fists." Su's father is worried, but Su is naive and assures his father that everything will be fine.
Yuan is coming. He greets Sister, Feng, and Su's father. Su's father knows why he came, and asks Yuan not to touch Ying and her child, but to deal only with him. Using his deadly technique, Yuan kills and decapitates Su's father. He hopes that Ying and her son will become his family. When Su finds out about what happened, he runs home, but there he is attacked by the Iron Twins. In pursuit of them, he comes to the place where Yuan, his people, Ying and Feng are. The battle between Su and Yuan begins. Yuan has superiority - black gold armor sewn into his body, which makes him partially invulnerable to blades. Using Five Fists, he inflicts a mortal wound on Su. Feng asks to spare his father. Yuan dumps the wounded into a stormy river. Ying rushes after him. Yuan takes Feng under his care.
Ying wakes up in the forest and tries to save her husband. They are found by the healer Yu, who treats Su's wounds in her home. Su regains consciousness, but feels that his arm is weak and all his tendons are torn. At first, he despairs, begins to drink, but thanks to his wife he begins to train in order to save his son. Once Su meets God Wushu and the Old Sage, asks for help in studying Wushu. In a sacred place, Su has been fighting God Wushu for many years, trying to defeat him. Healer Yu checks the pulse of Su and tells Ying that Su is losing his mind and probably God Wushu and the Old Sage do not exist, since there is no one except them. Once, Ying watches her husband and sees that he is fighting with himself. Ying begs Su to recover, but he does not believe her. Su defeats God Wushu and hurries to inform his wife about this, but discovers that she secretly went from him alone to save her son.
In the palace of Yuan, Ying is captured. Su arrives there and fights with the guards. He also defeats the Iron Twins. The yuan orders to put Ying in a box and bury it deeper. Then he kills the witnesses so that only he knows about her whereabouts. Su fights Yuan in his training room and eventually defeats him. Feng asks his father not to kill Yuan because only he knows where Ying. But distraught Su, in anger, deals a mortal blow to Yuan's throat. Realizing his mistake, Su rushes to the dying soldier, and he tells where John. Su and Feng find and dig up the box, but they find Ying dead.
It takes several years. Over the years, China has ceased to be dynastic. Soo went crazy over losing her wife. Homeless Feng leads his father through the streets and takes care of him. Meanwhile, the city is fighting between the Chinese and foreigners in the ring. The loser gets to the tigers to be eaten. Colonel Ma, now the leader of the Wushu Federation, intends to participate in the duel.
Meanwhile, Su goes to the hotel and riots there, stealing wine and getting into a fight with people trying to stop him. Then he meets the same drunkard who fights with him and gives some philosophical advice. Both begin to use the Drunken Fist technique, and Su regains her sanity. The woman in the hotel calls Ma to pacify Su. Ma recognizes an old friend as a tramp. They communicate, and Ma returns Su with his sword. Su asks Ma to take care of her son, but Feng insists on staying with her father.
The next day, Su and Feng come to support Ma in the battle in the ring. Su goes to the club bar, not paying attention to the fact that Ma is seriously injured. Feng is trying to save Ma from death, but the opponent grabs the boy and keeps him in the air. Feng screams, asking for help from his father. The cries of his son awaken Su from drunkenness, and he runs into the ring. Soo defeats the wrestler. Anthony, the organizer of the fights, brings more fighters to the arena, as a result of which Su confronts the three. Using the “Drunken Fist” technique learned from a drunkard in a hotel, Su defeats the opponents despite being wounded. As a result, some fighters are dead, others are unconscious. Thanks to the vision of his dead wife and the cries of her son, Su is able to stand on her feet. He is declared the winner.
