Content
Career
The pupil of the club "Spartak" from the city of Baku , for the youth team which played. In 1967 he was invited to the newly created team of craftsmen "Textile worker" (Mingachevir). In 1968 he moved to the club "Polad" (Sumgait) , speaking in the 2nd group of class "A" . During the 1970 season, he joined the Friendship team (Maikop) .
In Moscow "Spartak" moved in 1972. The first match for the main part was held on March 4. The first season in “Spartak” turned out to be the most successful for Darwin. Having played 23 matches for the first team (21 goals are missing) in the championship , 6 games (-3 goals) in the USSR Cup and 4 matches (-5 goals) in the Cup Winners Cup , Darwin became the team's main goalkeeper. The following year, Yuri was ousted from the base by A. V. Prokhorov and in 1974 moved to the Torpedo club (Lutsk) . In 1975, Darwin returned to Spartak, but, unable to gain a foothold in the base, left the team after the spring championship in 1976 . In total, Darwin played 41 official matches for Spartak Moscow (38 of them were in the starting lineup, came off substitute three times), in which he conceded 37 goals, including 28 games in the championship (-24 goals), 8 games (-7 goals ) in the USSR Cup and 5 games (-6 balls) in the Cup Winners Cup .
Find a new club Darwin managed in 1977, becoming a player in Grozny “Terek” . He finished his career as a football player in 1979, being the goalkeeper of the Spartak Moscow club team that played in the Moscow Championship.
From July to December 1976 he was a coach for working with goalkeepers at the Moscow Sports School “Spartak”. After leaving Spartak school for a time, he returned to it in 1979 and 17 years old, until 1996, coached goalkeepers. From 1997 to August 2001, he worked as a goalkeeping coach for the Spartak club (Moscow). In 2002–2004, he trained goalkeepers for the Saturn (Ramenskoye) team. In 2005 he returned to Moscow “Spartak” as a coach for working with goalkeepers. He works as a goalkeeping coach for 15–18 years at the Spartak Academy named after F. Cherenkov.
